Phil@tattershalls.co.uk
Phil is an accomplished Chartered Accountant with a background in Tax from Deloitte and subsequently had responsibility for the multi-million-pound financial performance and analysis of a Listed Company.
Phil originally started in the property sector as an investor and property renovator in 2009, and since 2011 has dedicated his time to the estate agency sector to provide the level of service to others that he desired as a landlord and seller.
Given Phil’s background in tax legislation, he has a keen interest in the evolving legislative environment and is well-versed in providing our clients with expert advice. He spends some of his time lobbying on behalf of landlords and sellers, as successive governments seek to amend the housing laws – it has proved vitally important for the benefit of the property sector, especially his lobbying of the House of Lords during the drafting of the Tenant Fees Act 2019. Phil is currently engaged with providing his assessment of the Renters Reform Bill.
Phil holds a master’s degree in engineering from the University of Nottingham as well as being a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a Member of ARLA Propertymark, the leading body of registered letting agents.
